We want you as the customer to be satisfied in every aspect of your function. To achieve this result it is important for both Amory Catering and you the client to have a clear understanding of expectations of what will be achieved from the beginning.
the quote
Once you have discussed with us your ideas and requirements for your function, we will formulate a quote to suit you. This written quote remains valid for thirty days from the date of issue.
price
Prices published in this brochure, although we endeavour not to, are subject to change, through sometimes unforeseeable circumstances. If this is the case all clients will be informed in the first instance.
confirmation
On receiving a signed copy of the booking form and approved menu we accept this as the confirmation for your function.
confirming final numbers of guests
To make sure you receive the best value c.m. catering requires confirmation of the number of guests for your function five working days prior. It is at this stage your final invoice will be processed and full payment will be required.
payment terms
Due to the fact that many costs are incurred prior to your function date on your behalf, c.m. catering may require a minimum 25% deposit, to be paid on approval of the quote. If a venue is booked on your behalf, a larger deposit may be required. Five working days prior to your function the remaining balance including venue charges is required. If prepayment is not required for smaller events our invoice term is strictly 7 days.
c.m. catering accepts payments in the form of most major credit cards (AMEX incurs a 2% surcharge), cheques, cash and direct debits to:

cancellation of function
If the unfortunate should happen and you need to cancel your function, the following guidelines apply;
- If written notification of cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the function, Amory Catering will refund in full.
- If written notification of cancellation is received 21-60 days prior, Amory Catering will refund 50% of the deposit.
- If written notification of cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to the function date there will be no refund of the deposit.
With boardroom functions the above conditions apply with below terms.
Final numbers must be confirmed no later than 48 hours prior to the function date.
Cancellation in writing is required 14 days prior for a full refund. Between 2-14 days a 50% refund on the deposit will be given.
If the function is cancelled in less than 2 days there will be no refund.
insurance
Amory Catering is extremely conscious of taking care of the equipment used for your function. Amory Catering cannot take responsibility in the unlikely event of damage or loss of equipment, a damage or loss report will be provided at the completion of any project, where any loss has occurred. These costs are the responsibility of the client.
